WHB’s BFFs

Luke Farnan, Staff Writer

Two crazy and free-spirited WHBHS seniors clash together for a fun, adventurous relationship. Lyla Finch and Christina Santucci met 10 years ago in religion class and the rest is history.

Lyla describes herself as psychopathic (in a good way) while Christina is more of a balance. According to Autumn Fink, another friend of the two, “Christina is free-spirited.” This difference allows the two to bond even more.

Autumn also says “they are the most interesting, amazing people that I’ve ever met in my entire life.”

Adventures of the last few years for the two range from broken bones to annual traditions such as getting a Christmas tree.  “Every year we cut down our own Christmas tree together. We’ve done this for the past seven years. We decorate it and it goes to Christina’s house,” says Lyla.

Fellow friend Rachael Bentz describes the two as “really, really interesting people. They are best friends but also each other’s worst enemies. It’s really interesting.”

Since they are seniors, Lyla and Christina are obviously thinking about their future and college. The two do not want to go to the same college because “we’ll have shorter time to do the stuff that we do now which will make it much more fun,” says Christina. “It will make our relationship even stronger,” says Lyla.
