You may know him as Johnny L’s, John the Politician, or the Drama King. John La Mura is one of the most well-known students throughout the school and he has made a lasting impression on WHB.

Senior John La Mura is one of the sweetest yet one of the most opinionated guys, leading him to win the title of Drama King. Though he may disagree, his classmates think otherwise. Kiera Solomon and Sarah Strebel agree that John is constantly finding something to argue about. One of his close friends Justin Grieco said, “I think they should have made a Drama God award just for him. John La Mura is not only the Drama King but also the whole royal family.”

Even though John is a little over dramatic he is still “not only beautiful on the outside, but he is just as beautiful on the inside. He is a wonderful human and he can do no wrong,” said Julia Lewis.

So what does John think about all of this? Though it may not be the award he hoped for, John said, “It’s an honor to be given such a prestigious award but at the same time I’m not exactly sure where it comes from as I feel my personality and attitude don’t pertain to the award.” He does agree that, “If someone asks me my opinion I get very emotional and passionate about it.”

Whether it be his passionate personality or his opinionated opposition, John La Mura is a great guy and if you haven’t met him yet a quick wave can spark a friendship with him.
