Spring break is right around the corner! Westhampton Beach will be on spring break from April 7th-16th.  While some students are staying home, others are leaving for vacation. No matter their plans, students are definitely excited for spring break.

WHB sophomore Lana Salvaggio is traveling to Port St. Lucie, Florida for five days over spring break. Lana says, “I can’t wait to go on vacation. I’m looking forward to going to the beach and tanning the most.”

Aruba is a popular spot for WHB students to go during their time off. Sophomore, Morgan Giacchetto, says she’s excited to explore Aruba over spring break. Snorkeling and swimming are on her to-do list for the one week getaway to Aruba.

On the other hand, some students are spending the week at home, a staycation. Junior, Charlotte Dermody, is spending her spring break locally.  “I am babysitting for most of the break, but I will definitely be hanging out with some friends when I can,” Charlotte adds.

Spring break gives students some time to decompress and not think about school. Many people take this time to go on vacation. The most popular spring break destination is Cancun, Mexico, followed by Miami, Florida, and Jamaica.

No matter what you’re doing, enjoy the time!
