The 12 hour EDC concert

With carnival rides, art installations, dramatic décor and amazing line-ups, Electric Daisy Carnival is the experience of a lifetime.  EDC 2014 took place on May 24th and 25th at the MetLife Stadium from 12:00 PM- 11:00 PM.

Senior Carly Bossung, who attended the concert on Saturday, said the “best part was everyone’s positive energy.”  Senior Danny Burns agreed, “It was magical and the fireworks during Tiesto and Adventure Club was the best part.” The perfect weather also made the day even more special.  According to senior Bridget Pamboris, “It was amazing. There was lots of sunshine, love, and music!”

Senior Melissa Thienel, who attended the festival both Saturday and Sunday, advised future EDC goers to “definitely look at the line up before you get there and plan your schedule of who you want to see so your not overwhelmed. Always look out for your friends, stay hydrated, and most importantly have an amazing time!”

EDC is a 12-hour concert that features four stages with various artists performing. Danny, who also attended both days, said, “Bassnectar, Adventure Club and 3lau were my favorite.” Bridget said, “ My favorite performers were definitely Tiesto, Borgore, Boys Noize and Bassnectar.”

This annual festival is always held in May, so if you couldn’t make it this time there’s always next year.  For an entry to the festival you’re required to be 18 and older with a valid ID.
