There is only one “king” in Westhampton Beach; the kid that is the “best” at everything he does. Voted “Best All Around,” Zach Rignola is like no other. Captain of both the football and lacrosse teams, Zach is deserving of his “Best All Around” title and “The King” nickname.

It may be deceiving but there is a whole lot of amazing packed into that 5’8” godly figure. On the weekends when he isn’t playing the piano at the local nursing home, Zach is busy making money, making sandwiches. As one of La Ronde’s finest workers, he doesn’t mess around when it comes to making food. If you haven’t tried his chicken panini with mozzarella, basil, and arugula, then you are missing out on something truly special. Not to mention, Zach is always looking to help. “Zach is the one that set me up with the job I have at La Ronde,” said senior Dylan McCarthy.

It isn’t just on the field or in the kitchen either, Zach gets his work done in the classroom as well. He is a math genius, nearly reaching a perfect score on the math section of his SAT. If you ever need a math tutor, Zach wouldn’t be a bad choice; and because of his math ability, he plans on majoring in engineering when he goes away to college.

The one thing that really makes Zach the ‘Best All Around’ is his outstanding sense of humor. Zach can make you laugh on your worst day and on your best day. He is funny when you need it and when you don’t. Half of the time he isn’t even trying to be funny, yet everything he says and does, whether he’s serious or not, is hysterical.

His athleticism is ridiculous, he has a fantastic work ethic while in school and at work. “ I love Steve Tags,” said ‘The King’ himself. He does what he wants when he wants, and he isn’t afraid to speak whats on his mind. You can’t tell Zach “you can’t” because he WILL do what you think he can’t.
