WHB Language students are getting a huge opportunity for Spring Break of 2015. Any junior or senior who participates in a Spanish, French, or Latin class is eligible for going on the French Trip.

The trip will be from February 14 to February 22, 2015. For these nine days, those going on the trip will have amazing experiences that include exploring Paris, going to the top of the Eiffel Tower, seeing cave paintings estimated to be 17,300 years old in the Lascaux Caves and touring the immense Palace of Versailles.

Students will also take part in programs where they will cook (and eat!) traditional Loire Valley cuisine, learn calligraphy writing and fencing and take a painting class.

Junior Jessica Haberland said, “I decided to sign up because I’ve wanted to go to France ever since I was little. This will be an amazing way to spend Spring Break! Everything we’re going to do sounds so fun and I’m really excited to go.”

Anyone who wants to enroll can see Mrs. Petroski and get a permission slip. The Trip may be a little less then a year away, but seats on the plane are filling up quickly!
