An outgoing personality misinterpreted as flirtatious behavior? Senior “Class Flirt,” Taylor Jenkins is displeased with this years results, and offers her opinion on who “the real class flirt is.”
Maybe one of the most flamboyant characters here at WHBHS, Taylor feels both confused and misunderstood as a person. “I think people mistake my personality for flirting, sometimes, I just like making conversation with people.” Taylor is fearful that people will get the wrong idea about her “friendly” behavior now, because she despite being voted Class Flirt, she does not plan on changing the way she acts around her classmates.
Since Taylor is claiming that she is being misunderstood, when asked who she thought was “the real class flirt” Taylor said, “Nikki Haber. She is the epitome of a flirt.”
In order to give some credibility to Taylor’s claim, three high school seniors, Patrick Yager, Kyle Rubin, and Joe DiBenedetto were asked who they thought was more flirtatious. Unanimously, they said Taylor Jenkins, who they agree is “just trying to cover up her behavior.” It is important to note, however, that the three also think that Nikki Haber is a very close second.
Denial seems to be the common problem as Nikki says she “has no idea what any of them are talking about.”
So as it stands, maybe Taylor truly is the class flirt, which is why she was voted in the first place. As time is passing Taylor is becoming more and more indifferent to her new status. “I am getting over it, but I still think Nikki should have been voted the class flirt, because, she is.”
