The Lady Hurricanes took home a 20-7 win over William Floyd on Friday, March 21, 2014. With awesome defense and a successful offense, the team was able to come out on top.

Senior Alexa Smith led the team in goals while Lauren Smith, Brianna Moore, and Katy Parry dominated in defense. Brooke Alpert, Kaila Gagne, and Bryanna Gristina also had a strong game on defense.

Junior Kathleen Mensch had one of her best games. With five draw controls, three caused turn overs, and five ground balls Kathleen helped lead the team to victory. “I think that if we can learn to work together on the field as one unit instead of 12 individual players we can dominate in our division and move onto post season,” said Kathleen. Sophomore Julia Lewis agrees and said, “With the addition of a new coach, the players really mesh together in a cohesive way.”

Come support the Lady Hurricanes at their next home game on Friday, March 28th at 4pm on the turf!
