With temperatures dropping, new winter fashion trends are heating up. As the warm weather begins to fade, so does summer clothing. Saying goodbye to shorts and t-shirts could be upsetting, but with new winter trends coming, it could still be fun and exciting. We went around WHB in search of these new trends.

Kayla Hughes, a junior in WHB, dresses based on current trends. She says her style is, “cute, but basic.” Kayla gets her clothes from Zara, Lululemon, Aritzia, and Free People. She gets most of her outfit inspiration from Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, and also from Tik Tok.

She says, “Tik Tok plays a huge role in what I buy because I always find new things on the app.” Her fashion advice to her peers is, “Wear what you want and what makes you feel good.”

Junior Dayne Isola sticks with more of a baggy/skater style when picking out his winter fits. When looking for clothes, Dayne usually shops online instead of in stores. He shops at skate stores like Tillys, Tactics, and CCS. He also finds vintage clothes on eBay or Grailed. Dayne likes to dress stylish, but while also keeping it casual and comfortable.

Sophomore Sienna Macdonald, like Dayne, likes to stay comfortable, while also making it look cute. When we asked her where she shopped for her sweats and hoodies, she said, “Urban Outfitters and I get sweatshirts from my friend’s companies.”

When Sienna isn’t dressing comfortably, she has great style and likes to wear more trendy clothing like Kayla. She gets inspiration from Tik Tok as well and says, “When I am scrolling through Tik Tok, I see new trends everyday popping up on my feed and get ideas for new outfits and pieces of clothes to buy.”

Make sure to be on the lookout for new fashion trends this winter WHB!
