Abby Gobler, a junior at WHBHS, is originally from Flanders but moved to the hamlet of East Quogue at age four. Although Abby lives in East Quogue she is hardly ever there. Her constant travels do not allow her to stay in one place for too long. Abby’s favorite destinations have been Rome, Hawaii, Spain, and Miami. She loves to travel because it allows her to be fully immersed in new cultures, especially the food. In her free time at home Abby loves to laugh with friends, go for a run outside, watch “Scandal” in bed, listen to music, and visit the beautiful beaches of Westhampton. In the future, Abby is unsure of where she wants to go to college but she does know that wherever she ends up they must offer a study abroad program so that she can make it back to Italy. This is her first year writing for The Hurricane Eye.
