Mr. Hoyt, known to most at WHB as their Health and PE teacher, has quite an interesting life outside of school.  The lacrosse and soccer coach turned his hobby into a lucrative business.

From taking care of his new baby to opening a new gym, Mr Hoyt does it all. But you may be wondering just how he does it. With lots of hard work and unbelievable time management, Mr. Hoyt has no problems fitting all the activities he loves into his busy life.

Despite what many people think, Mr. Hoyt hasn’t been a fitness guru all his life. Heading off to a D1 college to play lacrosse, Hoyt realized he needed to up his fitness game. He began eating healthier and working out almost every day. His healthy lifestyle payed off, seeing as he was winner of the NCAA Division III national lacrosse championship not once, but twice!

When asked what motivated him to open his new gym, Hoyt responded, “I have always wanted to do it ever since I got into personal training… It’s always been a dream of mine and now was the time to give it a shot.”

Mr. Hoyt is exceptionally thrilled to be able to finally follow through on one of his biggest dreams and open Hoyt Fitness, located right in Westhampton Beach.

Underneath his buff, toned exterior, Mr. Hoyt’s caring, compassionate personality contributes to his love of helping people better themselves. Hoyt has “always wanted to help others get into shape and loves training people.” Coupled with his incredible time management, perseverance and determination, Mr. Hoyt has finally been able to fulfill his lifelong dream of opening his own gym.
