Kayla, a sophomore at WHBHS, is a first time writer for The Hurricane Eye. Before moving to Westhampton 5 years ago, she lived in East Quogue with her parents and two younger siblings. Since first grade, Kayla has played lacrosse and basketball and plays for the Hurricanes and E3. Kayla loves to travel and hopes to travel the world. She has been to Utah, St.Maarten, Grand Cayman, Miami, Greece, and Italy. Greece being her favorite destination because of the scenery and culture. On snowy weekends, the Graves family spends time in Killington, Vermont skiing the slopes. A summer day for Kayla consists of mornings at Rogers Beach, afternoons on the boat, and evening, dip in the pool.
