Hailey Hanyo, a junior at WHBHS, has lived in East Quogue since she was six years old. Although Hailey has three older siblings, she lives with her parents and her dog, Chloe. Hailey spends her summers working at Beth’s cafe in Quogue. During her free time she enjoys going to Ponquogue Beach with her family or Rogers Beach with friends. Hailey loves going to the beach, winter or summer, to watch sunsets. She loves to travel and takes many vacations with her family. Hailey and her family often travel to Oregon, where the other half of their family lives. This is her first year writing for The Hurricane Eye.
