Nyarie Mason, is a student and resident in Westhampton Beach. Currently, she is a senior at Westhampton Beach High School. Nyarie hopes when she graduates that she’ll start a career in helping others or being a motivational speaker for those who do not speak up for themselves. She enjoys helping others, drawing, organizing and writing. When Nyarie isn’t doing any of these things, she’s outside in her neighborhood playing basketball or jogging. Nyarie also enjoys listening to music. Music helps her concentrate on keep her focus in school. She spent a whole week in the summer donating things to people and raising money and food for a local church in her old town. The church members there were appreciative of her services after they reached the goal of opening a local food pantry in Riverhead. One of Nyarie’s dreams is to travel around the world helping kids with dreams like hers.
