Summertime in the Hamptons means busy town streets, city people, and beautiful beaches. You can find everyone at the beach and walking around, shopping, or getting food on Main Street. The best thing about summer is the beach.
The Surf Club is a private beach club with a nice beach, a pool, and food. Kate Lewis chooses to go to The Surf Club because she “is a member there and all of my summer friends go there and because of the free food”.
Rogers is a WHB village beach with food, a huge beach, and parking for people with Westhampton Village beach passes only. Laura Vitarelli chooses to go to Rogers sometimes because “its nice to go to if I want to see my friends.”
Jetty Four, also known as Lashley, is a beach where most locals go and where the surf is good. Patrick Bonner chooses to go to Jetty Four because “it’s quiet and mostly locals.” Laura Vitartelli chooses to go to Jetty Four sometimes,“if I don’t want to see people and just relax at the beach.” Riley Brower chooses to go to Jetty Four because “that’s where all of my friends go.”
Town beaches like Pikes Beach is where mostly families go. Pikes has bathrooms and an ice cream truck, but no other food service. Cupsogue, at the end of Dune Road, is also a family-oriented beach that has food service (The Beach Hut) with music and different events at night. With a permit, you can also drive onto the beach or camp at Cupsogue.
No matter what beach is your favorite, everybody is excited for this summer to begin. See you at the beach!
