Rdot & Smutty, Makin’ Money

Rylen Wilson (Rdot) and Jorden Bennett (Smutty Jay) are dropping a new album this November.

Westhampton Beach is filled with talent, whether it be athletes, artists or scholars.  Rdot2Tact, an upcoming rapper, is on the verge of releasing his first album. 
Rdot’s album called Drippy Demons will debut Thursday, November 30th.  His album will be released as a joint album with another artist by the name of Smutty Jay. 

Rdot,  better known as junior Rylen WIlson,  is partnering up with Jorden Bennett, aka Smutty Jay for the album.

Smutty said, “Rdot and I are gonna be the best duo on LI.’’

On his new album, Rdot2Tact has goals of 10,000 views. This album was made from his home studio. This just shows how dedicated Rdot is to the game. The designer of his new album will be  @cm_desiigns on Instagram.  

We had a chance to interview the Rdot2Tact about his music.

Q: What is your personal favorite song?

A: “‘Lost Motives’ by NBA Youngboy because I can relate to the rapper on this particular track.”

Q: Why do you enjoy making music?  

A: “Cuz it lets me speak the truth and make a movement.”

Q:  Do you want a record deal? 

A:  ‘’No, I’m going to make millions off being an independent artist.”

Q:  Rdot is a very inspirational person so we asked who inspired him. 

A:  “NBA Youngboy, King Von, lil Durk because those are the rappers that I grew up listening to.  

Q:  What do you rap about?

A:  “I rap about my lifestyle, and things that I experienced and people in his life that I likes/dislikes.”

 Look for Rdot2Tact’s music on many platforms such as Apple Music, Soundcloud, Spotify, and Samsung Music.  Album drops November 30th.

Luke Hefter, a sophomore at Westhampton Beach High School, was born in West Hollywood, California but moved to East Quogue at age five. A passionate scuba diver, Luke has been scuba diving in Spain and the Caribbean. He dreams of diving in Australian waters some day. This summer, he also gathered 500 pounds of garbage in the ocean while scuba diving and received 25 hours of community service.  Luke plays baseball and basketball for the Hurricanes and is excited for Jazz band this year.  In the future, Luke hopes to be a lawyer or a restaurant owner. This is his first year writing for The Hurricane Eye.
Rylen Wilson
Rylen is currently a junior at Westhampton Beach High School who attended Remsenburg, Riverhead and Longwood elementary schools.  Freshman year he moved back to Remsenburg to attend Westhampton Beach High School. Throughout all the moving, Rylen’s main goal always stayed the same: He wants to be a D1 basketball player and practices 7 days a week at courts all over Suffolk County. On the side, Rylen pursues his passion for writing music and rapping. He goes by Rdot2tact, and has currently released around 15 songs and has an album coming soon. This year he hopes to pass with an 85+ average. He currently does not know where he see’s himself in the future, but he “knows he will have a bag.” This is his first year writing for The Hurricane Eye.
