Get Ripped…In Gym Class: New T-25 Workout!

Do you need a fun workout for gym class? Well T-25 might just be what you need. Taught by Mrs. Peters, this class is a fun way to hang out with friends and get a great workout in just twenty-five minutes!

 

This workout combines cardiovascular and strength training exercises to really give you a full body workout. Jessica Norwood, a student taking the class, stated  “I like that it works out my whole body and just not my legs like running or team sports do”. This class will make you sweat a lot because it works out your core, back, quads, biceps, glutes, triceps, obliques, and lower abs. Brittany Palladino, another student in the class stated “I like the class because it keeps me more active in gym class instead of doing nothing”. The program is made for a single person to achieve their fitness goals according to Mrs. Peters (says), “it’s a fitness workout, and football and soccer are team sports”.

 

lWithin a forty-minute class period this program only takes twenty five minutes that leaves you enough time to get changed and work you to the bone. So, tips or precautions when taking this class would be helpful when taking this class. Brittany Palladino says “Make sure you stretch; you are going to be very sore if you don’t”.  Jessica Norwood also advises students interested in T-25 to “Make sure you have clothing suitable for a really good workout because you will sweat”.

 

You may ask, who came up with this great idea for this workout? Mrs. Peters stated, “The athletic director came across these workouts at a conference and introduced them to the PE staff”.  The workout takes place in the fitness room during select gym periods, and in the near future a 60-inch TV will be installed for an even better workout!
