LT Burger Makes its Way West

LT Burger Makes its Way West

This year, a brand new restaurant, LT Burger, has recently opened its doors on Main Street, competing with other popular local restaurants.

LT Burger shouldn’t be a new name for residents of Sag Harbor, as it has been a highly esteemed restaurant there for years. It has already proven popular with locals, and appears to be here to stay.

The restaurant chain, created by chef Laurent Tourondel, has opened restaurants from California to as far as Hong Kong.  WHBHS sophomore Liam Parsons ate at LT Burger West and he felt the aesthetics were nice and it stands out from other Main Street restaurants. He likened it to a “nicer, but more expensive Boom Burger,” a local favorite especially with younger generations. He said he would recommend it.

My opinions of the place are that it is a nice option to have, but it feels like a weird in-between of a full fledged sit down restaurant, and a grab and go style like the aforementioned Boom Burger. Whenever I visit Main Street, it’s mostly with friends where we simply don’t have the time to sit down and eat a full meal. But for families or people who do, it’s perfect.

LT Burger West is open Wednesday to Sunday.  Stop in and decide for yourself!
