Seniors Last Spring Concert

Seniors+Last+Spring+Concert

The WHB seniors stepped out onto the stage for their final performances for their spring concert on May 22, 2024.  These amazing performers have worked hard every year to give their audiences a show to never forget.

WHB senior Maria Syfoeras, who performed with the chorus said,  “It was really fun being in chorus with all of the other seniors because a lot of us have different strengths so it was really interesting when we all came together at the concert rehearsals and the concert.”

Outside of their chorus class, all of the students have to take lessons during different class periods. This goes to show how much the seniors have worked for the past four years.

The chorus was led by the chorus teacher Miss Pawluck, who has conducted many successful concerts at WHB. Students enjoy working with her and have learned so much from her. Senior Sara DeVerna said, “I will miss Miss Pawluck because she is one of the nicest teachers and I’ll miss singing with her. It’s been great working with her because she’s taught me a lot about music and  my voice but also about life.”

Miss Pawluck has pushed all of her students to be the best versions of themselves inside and outside the classroom. Without her many chorus students would not be where they are today. Thanks to her influence, many seniors will continue to be involved in singing as they move to college. Sara continued, “I don’t think that I’m going to do it as a major or minor but I definitely want to get involved in singing as a club.”

Chorus will continue to be an important part of many of the seniors’ lives thanks to Miss Pawluck.

This final performance goes to show how much the seniors have worked for the past four years at WHB. These students showed great commitment and dedication to the chorus and have put on an amazing show.

Good luck to all the seniors in the future!
