GTA IV Wealth

It’s a constant struggle of the hustlin’ life. Getting paper. There are many ways to do it, but only one will put you up on top.

Since Grand Theft Auto’s online launch on October 1st, people have been putting hours upon hours into the online hustling life.  Some may start with the free car, others may steal one, but ultimately, everyone has the same goal, Super Cars.

Some may lead to the “Entity” which is a modern day Lamborghini, others, such as myself, went for the ultimate car the “Adder” or Bugatti.

The Adder costs a whopping one million dollars, which for non-GTA players is a ton of money, completing one mission usually earns about $8,000 dollars.

Some people weren’t as patient as others, and they went to a store such as Rite Aid or King Kullen and purchased Microsoft points that can give you in game money. This tactic is basically only used for people who really have no skill at the actual game. Sophomore Connor Glynn said, “It’s a waste of money!  If you’re buying money for a video game you should really rethink your priorities.”

But on a stormy night in November, a glitch was discovered; people were now able to sell the same car repetitively and gain massive amounts of money. Word quickly spread and soon, everybody was driving around in a luxury vehicle.

Players all over the world were either upset about this glitch or excited about it, depending on their current financial situation in the game. Personally, I was pretty upset with this being that I saved one million dollars for the Adder, which multiple people now had. Austin Teitelbaum said, “It’s stupid and unfair.  It’s just cheating.”
