After a very long and cold winter spring is finally here which means Spring Break is getting closer.

Students at WHB are craving summer and Spring Break is the perfect dose of what they need until the end of school.

This year Spring Break falls from April 12^th until the 20^th. Many juniors will be using the warmer weather to their advantage by visiting colleges and starting to prepare for their futures. Junior Skyler Arrasate said, “I will be visiting University of Tampa, Florida Atlantic University, Coastal Carolina, High Point, Flagler and Stetson over Spring Break.”

Seniors are also using the break to visit college, as they make their final decisions on where they are going to attend in Fall 2014.

Senior Hannah Donohue is taking a trip to South Carolina to look at one of her top choices, University of South Carolina. She said,  “I’m driving down there with my parents to look at the school because it’s going to help me decide if I really want to go there in the fall.”

Other students are using Spring Break for a much-needed vacation. Senior Dylan McCarthy is going down to Myrtle Beach with his friends to “hang-out, relax and just have a good time.”

A lot of students will be staying home to enjoy the hopefully warmer weather. Senior Montana Ryzuk said, “I’m staying home and I’m planning on doing a lot of fun day trips with my friends, like going to NYC and to Six Flags.”

Whether you are going away or staying home enjoy the warm weather, have fun and just remember summer is almost here!
