Aiden’s actual hand-written acceptance letter from Brown.

Class president, creator of Blessings in a Backpack, wrestling star, band member: Aiden Kravitz is all this in one. Let’s go in depth and find out why Aiden chose Brown and how he accomplished this achievement.

Brown, an Ivy Ieague University located in Rhode Island, is considered the most liberal of the Ivys, and very selective – accepting only 10% of applicants. It also has an average SAT score of 2150.

Aiden, being one of the 10%, made the choice to make Brown his home. ‘’I chose Brown because it allows students the freedom to explore all their interests. By choosing to take any classes of interest and allowing them to drop or switch into any classes within the first two weeks of the semester. With this students can build an education unique to themselves and create an organic career pathway that flows their interests.’’

The Ivy title means a lot to most people, but Aiden is not one of them. ‘’The Ivy title doesn’t mean much to me. I’m not sure I would have applied to any other Ivy’s for the sake of going to an Ivy.’’

Aiden says his parents were the ones to help him achieve his goals. ‘’Without my parents I definitely wouldn’t have gotten anywhere. They support me so much in anything I do, especially wrestling, school, and music.’’

Obviously being a great role model,  Aiden advises students to ‘’find a balance between school, friends, family, and put them in perspective, not letting grades rule your life and try and learn for the sake of one day applying the knowledge to the world.’’

Alex , Aiden’s younger brother, could be one to look up to Aiden.  ‘’Aiden definitely deserves to go to Brown. He puts the time in and deserves it. I’m very proud of him.’’

Kyle Maddock, a good friend of Aiden also says, ‘’ I’m happy for him that all of his hard finally work paid off.’’

Aiden hopes to study the sciences and research and to enjoy the freedom of learning in an environment not bogged down with grades.

If you see Aiden in the halls don’t forget to congratulate him on his impressive achievement!
