As WHB seniors prepare to take the next step in their academic journey, many are choosing the University of Tampa as the destination to continue their education. This growing trend shows the appeal of the University of Tampa’s great campus, strong academic programs, and diverse opportunities that align well with what WHB graduates are looking for.

The University of Tampa is a private, residential university located on the riverfront in downtown Tampa. The school offers students more than just an education, it provides an environment where history, culture, and urban life come together. The campus itself is a blend of a beachy and city lifestyle, making it a standout destination for students seeking both the beauty and opportunities.

The university offers over 200 academic programs, including undergraduate degrees, minors, pre-professional programs, and certificates. The school is known for its strong business programs, especially in areas like finance, marketing, and international business, along with popular majors in social science, health science, and the arts.

Senior Ava Caruana, who is attending UT this fall and majoring in psychology, said, “I chose it over other schools because it was the first school I visited, and once I visited, I knew that it was my dream school to go to. They have smaller class sizes there, which I knew I would be able to benefit from, and a lot of different opportunities for my psychology major.”

Senior Mia Venezuela also found UT to be the one. “One of the main factors that led me to choose UTampa is the weather, and I knew I wanted to head south, so I applied to a bunch of Florida and southern schools.”
