Hurricanes Remain Undefeated After First Round of Playoffs

The Hurricanes struck again.

On Friday night, the undefeated Hurricanes beat Rocky Point in the first playoff game at home.  

The 9-0 Hurricanes are headed to the second round of the playoffs with the ultimate goal of going to the LIC for the first time in school history. 

Senior Dylan Laube and junior Liam McIntyre both scored two touchdowns, and sophomore Joe Sarno and junior Tyler Nolan both added one.

About the game, junior Liam McIntyre said, “Just another day doing what we do, getting it done.”

Laube had 184 yards on 12 carries and Tyler Nolan added 93 yards on four carries.

Next up the Hurricanes take on West Babylon Friday night (11/10) on the turf at 6 pm.

“It is going to be a historic game that is going to take us to the Suffolk County championship at Stony Brook,” Liam said.
