Kayla Hughes, Staff Writer
Kayla Hughes, a junior at WHBHS who is from Westhampton, is a member of student government and is the student liaison of the key club. She is an outstanding student with aspirations to join the National Honors Society. Outside of school, Kayla enjoys hanging out with friends, going to the beach, and exercising. She has a passion for cooking and considers herself a good chef. Kayla’s favorite travel spot is Aruba however she also loves to visit family in Ireland. Some fun facts about Kayla are that she has two younger siblings, two dogs, works at Sobol, and is a vegetarian. One of her most important dreams is to be successful in life and has decided to pursue law and become a private attorney when she grows up. This is Kayla’s first year writing for The Hurricane Eye.
