The Hurricane Eye

Lillian Simons, Staff Writer
Lillian Simons, a junior this year at Westhampton Beach High School, is originally from Columbia, Illinois. As she got older, she grew up in Westhampton Beach. Now living in East Moriches, she works as an intern at Southampton Press. She hopes to write many non-fiction books and is published multiple times in the high school’s literary magazine, Seascapes. Pole-vault and distance running are just a few of the many things she does on her free time, including reading many opinionated books along with social history and even National Geographic articles. Being very interested in other people’s ideas and thoughts, Lillian hopes to be accepted into a small Liberal College outside NY to major in Humanities and Creative Writing.
