There are two NFL teams left in the championship race, on their way to Houston for Super Bowl LI.   But on Sunday, February 5th,  only one will be victorious.

The Atlanta Falcons vs.  the New England Patriots.   This will be Atlanta’s second trip ever to the Super Bowl.  The only time the Atlanta Falcons made an appearance at the Super Bowl was 1999 where they got upset by the Denver Broncos.

The Falcons are on a winning streak, with a near perfect performance against the Packers last Sunday, and having won six in a row and scoring at least 33 points each game.

But the Patriots are looking to become the first coach and quarterback to win five Lombardi trophies.  They are on a nine game winning streak.

The Patriots and Falcons have history.  They have played four times with Brady as the quarterback.  The Patriots won them all; all previous three meetings took place in Atlanta.

The odds are with the Patriots, favoring New England by a field goal in a shootout.  The over/under is 59 points, the highest in Super Bowl history.

Tom Brady, the quarterback of the New England Patriots, has numerous records will have to give it all he’s got if he wants to bring the Patriots back to the Super Bowl.   The Falcons are focused on the the Vince Lombardi Trophy as well.

During playoff season, social studies teacher Mrs. Larson, a huge football fan, shared her thoughts on the 2017 Playoffs. Unfortunately her teams didn’t make the finals.

“I think that the Green Bay Packers are going to win,” she said.  The Dallas Cowboys, who were the best team in the NFL coming into playoffs with an incredible 13-3 record, hit a wall: The Green Bay Packers. The game came down to the closing seconds  Mason Crosby the kicker nailed a 51-yard field goal to seal the deal for the Packers. That was one of the best football games I’ve ever seen. Since that loss the Super Bowl prices have dropped withouts the Cowboys on the roster.

Who will win Super Bowl LI ? Tune in on Sunday, February 5th 2017 on FOX .  My bets are on the Patriots.
