Great resilience and teamwork wasn’t enough for the Hurricanes to triumph over the Wildcats, on Tuesday, January 4th. The WHB boys fell to the Shoreham Wildcats 58-52 on their home court.
The game began like a nightmare for the Hurricanes who quickly fell behind 14-2 in the opening minutes of the first quarter. However they showed great team resilience as they turned it on in the second quarter, outscoring Shoreham 18-9 and finishing the half leading 26-25.
Coming out of the half the Canes struggled again, only managing 8 total points in the third quarter. By the end of the quarter they were down 44-34.
