The new thinner and lighter MacBook Airs have arrived to help us learn.
Assistant Principal Mr. Bookamer stated the the reasoning for the switch to the MacBook Airs is that they’re lighter, more durable, with a solid state hard drive, which will prevent it from not overheating.
He also said that he likes having both the plastic cover and the regular case on at the same time. His message to all the students is to “keep the plastic case on and be careful when walking through the halls.”
Most students have had no problems with the laptops at this point. One issue junior Bailey Mockler has had is that “the scrolling and clicking is very different.”
Health teacher Mr. Hoyt said, “Everything’s fine and working smoothly.” He also said he prefers the Air and he’s grown used to it.
Overall the laptops have been a good addition to the school year…What do you think? Leave a comment.
