“My biggest dream right now is to become — well I already am a poet — but to actually send my poems out and to perhaps get a few of them published after all these years of writing at home while the kids were being raised and during the summers when I am off from teaching. So right now, my dream is to live on my farm, get a goat, make some goat cheese and write poetry. My advice is to work hard; and don’t give up on your dreams. But dare to have them because sometimes they get realized. What I’ve learned in life is that we all struggle but misery is optional and we can make better lives for ourselves.”
