Come to the Winter Ball on February 5th.

Students have been buzzing about a new upcoming event, a Snow Ball to celebrate the winter. This year the students involved in the club ‘Youth to Youth’ are putting together a night that will bring some amazing memories for the student body. The ball is open to every student in the WHB High School and the club is ecstatic to get the word around.

“It’s a semiformal dance and the social event of the school year, open to every kid in the school.” Raj Ghayalod, president of ‘Youth to Youth’ states. The ball will be filled with music, food, and games for entertainment. Mr. Garvey, supervisor of the club, says “Oh my god, it’s gonna be the social event of the year!”

There is an admission fee to enter. You can either pay $7 or you can pay $5  along with three non-perishable food items. Everyone is welcome to the event and there’s no need to worry about not having a date. “All are welcome, date or dateless,” Raj adds. The ball is taking place Friday February 5th at 7pm in the high school cafeteria. “Try to skip off on jeans, wear something you’d wear to a Sweet 16 or a wedding,” Raj adds. If you’re interested in attending, further details will be coming soon. You can attend ‘Youth to Youth’ meetings on Thursdays, or listen for the announcements. Everyone hopes to see you there!
