Ella Troutman is a sophomore at Westhampton Beach High School. She was born in the US Virgin Islands but moved to Remsenburg about three years ago. Ella is a concert junkie, loves to travel, and will always insist on the window seat. In her spare time she likes to be surrounded by friends, do yoga, be in the ocean, and go camping. In the future she plans on putting off college to travel and do anything and everything culturally enriching. This is her first year writing for The Hurricane Eye.

Museum of Fine Arts Boston Head of Objects Conservation Pam Hatchfield removes a folded 19th century newspaper from a time capsule at the museum, Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, in Boston. The original capsule was made of cowhide and believed to have been embedded in a cornerstone when construction on the state Capitol building began in 1795. The contents were shifted to a metal box in 1855 which was unearthed last month at the Statehouse.
