On Saturday, the WHB girls indoor track team competed in the New York State Indoor Track Championships, held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island.

Sarena Choi won first in the  triple jump and second place long jump. She won the triple jump with a distance of 39 feet 6 ¼ inches.  Her jump was over a foot better than competitors.

Congratulations also to Kayla Berman, a member of the Section XI intersectional relay team, who are first in the state!  NYSPHSAA champions!
