On Tuesday, November 22, WHB Signing Day, senior athlete Cat Hall signed with Florida Southern College to play lacrosse.

During one of Cat’s first visits to the college, she knew she would be playing the next four years for the Moccasins. “Right when I stepped on the campus and played with the team, I knew it was right for me,” said Cat. After attending an official visit when she got to meet and play with the team, Cat felt like she fit right in with everyone.

Florida Southern College is a small private college (~2500 students) in Lakeland, Florida. FSC is a Division II school and participates in the Sunshine State Conference. Overall, FSC has won 29 NCAA Division II championships.

Moving from high school to college is an enormous change, but Cat is fortunate. “I’m so glad that I’m lucky enough to start off college with a whole team of girls by my side.”

Although Cat is excited for next year, she reflected on her time at Westhampton. “I am definitely going to miss my friends the most here at WHB. I would not be where I am without their love and support,” she said.

Congratulations Cat, have fun at Florida Southern College!
