Junior College Trip

Junior+College+Trip+

On March 24, 2015 the Junior class took a 2 day over night trip to visit colleges in the New York state area. The colleges that the class visited were SUNY Cortland, SUNY Oneonta, University At Albany, and Siena College. Preparing for college and visiting schools you might be thinking of going to is very important in your junior year.

Taking tours of schools you might want to attend is very important. It gives you a look at how campus life is and shows you how much walking there is from class to class. It gives you a feel of how the school is. Students of WHB enjoyed taking the tours of different colleges to know whether they’d want to attend a small, medium, or large sized school. Some students preferred Siena College because of it’s small campus and some liked Albany because of its large campus. Student, Chris Razzano, liked Siena College the most because it has a great track & field program.

One of the most important things to do when looking for the right college for you is to visit it. A visitation can change your mind quickly because of the people, the location, the community, and dorms. Also the extra curricular activities may also change your mind. Make sure to take these things into consideration when choosing your school.
